We've been stopping in for lunch, dinner, and takeout over the years and have always had a great experience with the friendly service and fresh, quality ingredients in both the curry dishes that are excellent and the sushi that is expertly prepared and everything is always delicious. I recently got the crispy duck with red curry and man, I couldn't get enough! So good! Even stopping in to get some takeout, you lose nothing in the tradition from kitchen to home. They carefully pack everything for safe travel and separate items to optimize freshness of all their ingredients. The staff is super friendly and some have been there for years. Even though we live far away now, when we do come around to visit, we will keep stopping in for some great Thai dishes and fantastic suishi!

This place is great! Honestly the speediest delivery I've ever had I was blown away at how quickly my food arrived. I had the seaweed salad, which is always a staple for me, the chicken pad thai which was very good, although nothing compares to the pad thai I used to get in Chicago, and last but not least the rainbow roll which was very fresh! I highly recommend, about to order as we speak! :)

I am a regular at thai sushi I have been coming Here since they opened and I have never once had a bad experience. The owners and staff are always friendly and happy. The sushi is the best sushi I have ever ate in broward county. When I say grandma is in the kitchen she really is and comes out from time to time. The tom kar Kai, tuna tazaki, and the Thai sushi roll are uusually my favorite plates to order. If you go with a large group I would suggest getting a boat. They also cater parties which they do an amazing job with. Hands down best place in town.

I am adding a star for great service. The owner's are Thai so decided to stick with the Thai menu. The Basil fried rice was simply not inspiring. It included canned baby corn and overall was lacking in fresh flavor. If you are in to Thai it might be worth the drive up to Bangkok (in Boca) or Chaiyo in Delray.

Thai-Sushi is one of our favorite neighborhood spots! Love the pad thai and the curries, and recently tried the sweet and sour pork which was also great. We often order delivery and the service is always so fast and friendly.

Not a big place but has seating in and outside. It's comfortable, and affordable. I had the volcano roll and loved that they give you the option to add cream cheese. Their menu is varied and extensive so everyone will surely find something they like.

Lobster Rolls! Thai Iced Tea! This place has consistency going for it, that's for sure. I've always gotten the lobster rolls, and they have always been delicious and well worth it. It's a big dish, so splitting it for two and ordering other stuff if you're still hungry is a good idea. Anyway! Love this place! LOVE IT!

Great neighborhood Thai/Sushi place (as the name may have suggested). Everything is fresh and haven't ever had a bad meal. Not quite as good as top tier Thai or Sushi places, but overall very very good. You won't be disappointed.

For some reason after happy hour they tend to have the most amazing sushi on earth. Stopped by after a fun night with friends and ordered the regular Shrimp tempura with cream cheese, cucumber, avocado, and eel sauce. It was delicious. I also tried the Shrimp tempura without cream cheese and I think I liked it more. Service was quick. Waitress was nice and friendly. The location is small but nice and the decor. cute. This is definitely the place to go for a quick bite to eat.

I have watched this place grow over the years but the quality has remained consistantly high!! I travel quite a bit and eat a lot of sushi and this place stands up to the best of the best!! The Thai is also very good and usually have a little of each but the sashimi and rolls is what brings me back over and over again!! They also do delivery which is nice when you can't get out and when they first opened years ago the owner Nick would deliver himself!! Above all I prefer to eat at the sushi bar with 2 tv screens behind the smiling and helpful sushi chefs!! Once you go I promise you will go back again and again!!

I love good Thai food. It's probably my favorite food. I was happy to try a new Thai restaurant when my cousin suggested going here. The small restaurant was attractive. Clyde and I ordered Tom Kar soup with chicken. It's Thai soup with pieces of chicken, lemon grass, and coconut milk. Clyde said his soup tasted fishy. They do use fish sauce in a lot of Thai food, but it shouldn't overpower the taste of the food. My soup wasn't fishy but it had an odd taste. It was sweet and the chicken was a little chewy. I ate it, but it was not great. For our entrees I ordered basil chicken. Clyde ordered his favorite Thai dish, Panang curry. Both entrees came with white rice. When asked how much heat we wanted, we both ordered medium. When our entrees came I took a bite and my mouth burned. I took a few more bites and gave up. Not only was my food too spicy, but the sauce didn't have any flavor other then hot pepper. I tried Clyde's Panang and it was almost as hot as my food. I told two different servers that I couldn't eat my basil chicken because it was too hot. Both smiled and shook their heads and acted like they didn't understand English. Funny, they understood it when we ordered. Clyde managed to eat most of his Panang curry, although he said he would have liked it better without so much heat. I took mine home. Maybe Clyde will eat it. I did eat the white rice that came with my dish. The rice was good. Service was fair. Our server was pleasant, but we didn't see much of her. We had to ask for anything we wanted including water and our check. She never asked why I had only taken a few bites of my entree. She didn't say anything when I told her it was too hot. I gave two stars instead of one because my cousin, who went with us, said he liked his food. He had Tom yum soup with shrimp, Thai salad with ginger dressing, and spring roll. He didn't order an entree. The people sitting next to us had ordered a sushi boat for four people, $120. It was big and looked impressive. I asked them if it was good. They said it was delicious. When I looked around I noticed that a lot of other tables had sushi. Maybe that's the food to order here. I like spicy food. Some of my favorite foods are Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian. I usually order medium heat, sometimes hotter. I'm the one that puts tobasco on my broccoli, and sriracha sauce and jalapeños in my pho. The food here was not medium, it was hot.

First impression I will give it three stars. It is exactly what I wanted, decent sushi decent price small crowd at 1 PM on a Friday, in the Cove. I got the Sushi Lunch Box #1. Starts with soup or salad, I like miso soup so I went for soup even though it is 1000 degrees. It was okay nothing outstanding, Masamune's is much better. The lunch box was exactly as you would expect a chef choice sushi combo to be, nothing crazy, nothing shocking. Very solid sushi lunch. Nice little added touch is between soup and sushi you get steamed soy beans, those are always tasty. Very nice and attentive staff. It was definitely a divide and conquer approach as I think every floor staff member touched my table at least once. Great experience decent food and worth the quick stop for lunch. I will try again, and maybe get Thai next time, that might bump my review up.

Thai-Sushi Express is all too typical of thai restaurants in South Florida. It isn't very good but it's OK. I had the coconut chicken soup-Tom Kar. It was fishy tasting no doubt from the fish sauce used in the recipe It was a little too sweet also but acceptable. It made me wistfully remember my favorite thai restaurant Ruan Thai in Wheaton, Maryland who has a fantastic version of this soup that I love. I had a cold beer luckily because the next course was chicken Panang curry with white rice another favorite dish of mine unfortunately prepared way too spicy hot. Don't get me wrong, it's supposed to be hot but I asked for it medium. This wasn't medium. It was barely edible. I think this restaurant has the potential for being very good. They need either a better chef or better recipes that are not so heavy-handed with the chili pepper sauce and fish sauce. It certainly wasn't the worst thai food I've had but it wasn't really some place I'm eager to revisit. They were a very nice clean restaurant although their restroom door which is located in the back behind a curtain was locked and no customer ever came out. I love thai food and this is not nearly as good as it could have been.
Love the food there, the stuffed shrimp is my favorite tastes like an egg roll more than anything. The people here are friendly, I would've given them 5 stars but they kept speaking in other languages than English & it made me uncomfortable.

They have a really large menu, really cheap prices. The portions are very generous, especially the lunch specials that come with soup and edamame! Didn't try the Thai food just sushi and loved it. Everything was fresh and well prepared! Good food, good prices, clean restaurant.

Mmm, yummy! Saw all the great reviews and I had to try it! I love Thai and I love sushi, and this place did not leave me disappointed. Even more, I found one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. They have amazing delicious sushi, really a perfection. Tasty salads and wonderful Thai curries. We tried Red Curry dish and it was so good. My only problem would be their small rice sides, so tiny. And if you want extra, its $1.50. Also the peanut dressing (for salad) did not taste or look homemade. Usually I love peanut dressings that has some crunchiness, contains crushed peanuts, carrots or orange... but this one was very sweet and creamy like the one I buy from store.

A very pleasant and inviting restaurant. The service was competent. We greatly enjoyed the lunch specials, which were ample and reasonably priced. Dinner costs a little more but is competitive with other Thai restaurants, and they give you twice as much! The flavors were light but good with Pad Thai, Red, Green and Panang Curries. Now I know why this is one of the more popular restaurants in the Cove Shopping Center.

Go to fav in deerfield beach! Love the thai sushi roll- crispy and delish, generous portion. They often have a yellowtail - jalapeño sushi special, which is fresh and spicy. Thai and Japanese dishes also available, but the fresh sushi is the highlight for me. Located in the Cove shopping center, ample parking, small dining room but usually there's room for all, some outdoor seating.

Only had their take out and it tasted pretty average. Their service was nice though and portions were pretty big. Wasn't really into their summer rolls and I've had better Phad Thai. Maybe it was what I ordered? Kinda sad they don't have Phad Kee Mao or Phad See Ew. Maybe next time I should try their sushi since that is what most of the reviews are about..

Stopped in for lunch today and tried the pad thai and a couple of rolls with a buddy. Good service, food was good for a quick bite to eat. I can see this as being a usual place for me to eat it because it close to my office, food is pretty decent (I liked everything I tried) and not bad on the wallet.

I called and placed a delivery order at 8 pm on a busy night after finding the positive yelp reviews. I could tell it was busy because there was a ton of background noise. I was quoted 30 - 45 min for delivery. I was very skeptical. They got here in less than 30. I was very impressed. More impressive was the food. Very generous portion. Great flavor. The best Thai I've had south Florida so far. I've had some bad experiences prior.

Very good food & the prices are nice and the speed is great for take-out. We've never eaten in, always got take-out, but the food travels great. Strangely (at least in my mind) I've only had the stir-fry (as has my wife) and not tried the sushi yet. However, the boy (our son) loves sushi rice, so I've gotten a few orders of that for him, and it had nice taste & consistency to it. I've always found the link of Thai & Sushi to be weak and loose at best. They have like 3 Thai dishes on the menu. However, I understand it's marketing, so it's all good. Just don't think you're going to a real Thai place, just a Pad Thai and 2-3 other dishes "Thai" place, that really focuses on Sushi & Japanese stir fry. Now, with that said, you can see that this really bothers me since I gave them 5 stars. They're located in the same plaza as the Cove bar. So if you're theyre swilling on a Friday, I definitely recommend hopping over to Thai Sushi express to eat (avoid the crap at the Cove, only good for the drinks). I digress. Good stir fry is hard to find, and this place has it. Check it out.

My family has been coming to Thai Sushi Express since they opened their doors with a dining room that was less than half the size that it is currently. Back then the line was out the door, and there was a reason for that, their food is consistently excellent and reasonably priced. Sure there are hipper sushi places around, but they try too hard and focus on the wrong things. The fact of the matter is you really can't find much better cuts of fish put together as well as they do it here. If you want the best sushi around, don't waste your time or your money going anywhere but here.

I would have given this place 5 stars but they messed up one of the things I ordered, otherwise the sushi and thai is very good!!! The dish they messed up on was an order of stuffed boneless chicken wings and they sent me tempura fried bone in chicken wings (gross) but i can over look that. They were VERY fast but i kind of attribute that to living right over the bridge from them. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Had the thai food. Girlfriend had red curry and I had chicken pad thai (playing it safe) asked for it spicy and BOOM. Exactly what the doctor ordered. Generous portions at that. Had to take mine home, and it was better the next day! Clean inviting place, friendly service and good location. Open late too! This place is a keeper!

The sushi is good salmon and white fish or escolar are not top of the line fish. If you come at an off hour the servers are bored and hungry almost feel rushed to finish my salad. The place is great tho no complaints eat here!

Awsome food and fantastic service for more than five years. My only complaint is with the handling of customers. My small children and I were subjected to severe cursing and unruly customers. They did nothing. They shuttled me out with my kids, only to accommodate some underage drunk teenagers who were dropping f bombs and taunting customers.

Love this place. Been eating there food at least once a month for years! Their curry dishes Thai spicy will make you sweat. Good ginger dressing on the salads too. A lot places try to do something different with the salad... They have the traditional ginger dressing everyone loves.

A little hard to find at first because it's a little hidden. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean. Sushi is fresh! Grilled squid was great! Reminded me of the squid I used to get on the streets in Misawa, Japan. Definitely would come back next time I'm in town. Only reason i gave it a 4 star is because our waitress forgot about our soup. That was Ok because we had too much anyways! Big portions!

This afternoon, we had the worst dining experience here. My friend's meal smelled funny. Instead of the place taking the meal off the bill, the manager was very harsh and said, "Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you don't have to pay." That wasn't the issue. The chicken seemed bad, and she didn't even take a bite. And, we were with a group of 11 people. I will never go back there again. I have never used social media to complain about a venue, but I was really disappointed with the way my friend was treated.

Would normally be about 3, maybe even 4 stars. Good sushi and most items on the menu are excellent. Unfortunately when I ate there tonight there was a large birthday party that had taken over the place. Usually this means the other tables get mediocre service and I was prepared for that. But worst of all they allowed the patrons to control the stereo system and they cranked the music up to unacceptable levels for a restaurant. So instead of enjoying a nice, not to mention expensive, meal I instead was treated to a migraine headache which forced me to abandon my meal, get a check and leave. I also got pretty sick as a result later, I just didn't get out of there fast enough. Not exactly the experience I was hoping for. I'm probably done with this place for good and that's a shame because the food was good. They need to decide if they want to be a nice place to eat or a nightclub for inconsiderate people.

Best sushi around. The guys at the sushi bar will make you anything you want. Try a spicy scallop hand roll which isn't on the menu but they will make it for you. We get them every time and absolutely love it! This is our go to place.

Don't let the word "express" scare you off or the fact its in a random strip mall! Pretty surprisingly good. Clean cute small place w/super friendly nice authentic thai/japanese people! The Wakame was fresh, the Shumai was great, & the roll I had was well done to perfection! The prices were decent. Not many places in these neck of the woods, so when I am here I will come back!

This is a smaller sushi place with great food. The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. I had some chicken dumplings and one of their specialty rolls and it was delicious. This is a very casual place and has seating both inside and outside. The decor is nothing special, but it isn't bad. You got to check this place out. You will enjoy the food.
(4)
Jill R.
Would really give 2.5-food is average. There are a few seats outside. Owner is Thai. Green and red currys are good, not amazing, not bad. Sushi was fine, we got a spicy tuna roll. Would recommend Thai dishes as opposed to sushi.

Thai sushi is the only place in that area i like to eat sushi. ive been going there for 10 years and am a pretty loyal customer! there are so many reasons to be: friendly service, speed, quality, taste. You can sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs, and even maybe get some tastes! All of the wait staff has been there for years and is always friendly and accommodating. I prefer the sushi over thai food, but they're panang curry is pretty delicious. For appetizers, the tuna takaki is great, its a hefty portion of raw tuna seared ever so lightly and topped with ponzu sauce. The shrimp tempura has 3 huge shrimp and mixed vegetables, usually broccoli, sweet pots and zucchini. Spicy mixed fish is my favorite, its not on the menu but its a bowl of raw salmon, whitefish and tuna tossed with thinly sliced cucumbers and kimchee sauce. if they have any type of wahoo on the menu or on special, ORDER IT! its usually right off the boat from local fisherman, doesn't get much better than hat! The thai sushi roll is jammed packed with tuna, salmon and whitefish, asparagus and cream cheese, then dipped in tempura and fried topped with eel and kimchee sauce. its hard for me to order that every time. if you like shrimp tempura rolls go with the venus roll, its a shrimp tempura roll topped with raw tuna. Make sure you try the spicy crab roll. its the only time ill eat imitation crab. they mix the crap with tempura flake and ponzu then either make it into a roll or hand-roll, you wont regret that.

We got takeout for lunch from this joint the other day, after a search for new lunch spots in the area. With great Yelp reviews, we decided to give it a go. I ordered some "custom" sushi ... since vegetarian sushi options weren't that prominent on the menu. They had one veggie roll, a cucumber roll and one or two other plain vegetable rolls, which is pretty standard for most sushi places. I asked for a custom veggie roll, with asparagus, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese, plus a plain avocado roll. They were YUMMY. Really delicious, I scarfed them both. I will definitely come back here - I love that they agreed to make my custom creation, and it was totally reasonable in terms of pricing, too.

I'm a big fan of Thai food, first time I go to any Thai restaurant I always order my favorite dish Crispy duck in Curry sauce. The Crispy duck here came with soup or salad I plumped for Miso over the Wanton and was very pleased I did. Tasty soup with a rich full flavoured broth. Service is good attentive but not overbearing. Now for the Entrée it was served with a large portion if steamed white rice, the rice was perfectly cooked, just the right amount if stickiness. The curry was rich and colourfull and presented beautifuly. The first mouthful was a pleasure, sweet fragrant and the duck was crispy and flavorful. I ordered medium heat and could have handled it being up a notch or two on the heat scale. As the meal progressed the flavors dissipated somewhat into an almost blandness taste. It wasn't bad by any means but it is a long way from great. I always ask myself would I come back? To be completely honest probably not, well at least not without trying some of the other Thai restaurants in the locality.

Great great service. Great food. The spicy tuna is great. The Tom kar Kai is amazing and the Kimchee roll is awesome. Everything is priced well. Love it.

Best sushi in south Florida! Service is excellent as well.

Great sushi! Always fresh and fast! Love the fired rice but wish they had more Thai dishes on the menu like papaya salad!
(4)Brian S.
Best sushi around. The guys at the sushi bar will make you anything you want. Try a spicy scallop hand roll which isn't on the menu but they will make it for you. We get them every time and absolutely love it! This is our go to place.
(5)Joshua R.
Always Great sushi. I have been here a lot and its always great. I have had almost every sushi roll there and they are all good.

(4)Jill R.
